Which option to choose - Burial or Cremation

You should note that Crematoriums are not covered by postcode. Therefore, the person who has passed can go to whichever Crematorium you choose.

Cremation allows you to choose a final resting place as once the cremation has taken place, the ashes can be interred or scattered, in many locations. Permission will, of course, be required from the location you have chosen.

A burial takes place at a resting place within a particular Churchyard or Cemetery.

There are some restrictions with regard to Parish locations as if you are not a resident in the Parish of choice, you may not be allowed to be buried in a new grave. However you may be permitted to use an existing grave space if there is room for a further burial, and you have permission to use that grave space.

The fees in relation to the above would be discussed at the time of the arrangement as indeed, there are different fees for Parishioners and Non-Parishioners.
